Staff at Plymouth bank uncover investment fraud worth more than £500,000

An investment fraud worth more than half a million pounds was discovered thanks to quick-thinking staff at a Plymouth bank.

The fraud saw victims – often the elderly - transferring sums of money to purchase what they believed were shares, currencies, commodities or cryptocurrency from a company purporting to be an international financial asset specialist.
